Do you know an NHS team or staff member who goes above and beyond for our local NHS?
The 2022 NHS Parliamentary Awards are a fantastic way to say a little thank you to those in the NHS who have gone that extra mile in the past year. Of course, all NHS staff and supporters deserve recognition, however I know that we have some particularly amazing staff across Daventry who have been incredible in supporting members of our community this past year.
After reaching out to residents on social media to ask for nominations, I was humbled to receive the below nomination regarding Long Buckby Practice. It is clear from the nomination that Long Buckby Practice are dedicated to providing the very best support to local residents and this is something that has been echoed in my mailbag this week.
I want to nominate the Long Buckby Surgery team as throughout the last 2+ years they've worked tirelessly to continue to provide a service for their patients. They've had to cover for colleagues at very short notice and have worked long hours without a complaint.
The team are there to provide a service, but they are also people with families, bereavements, and other worries, and yet every member of staff arrives at work with a smile on their face and are proud to work for the NHS and Long Buckby Practice.
They have remained open and welcoming and I would love to see them rewarded for their professionalism, caring and kind attitudes and their genuine wish to provide the best service they can for our patient community.
