The welfare of animals is an issue which I receive a great deal of letters about. Many people are concerned that animals are treated properly, and that testing and slaughtering are conducted ethically. It's something that I know my constituents care about greatly - I hope that this page gives you all an understanding of where I stand on the various issues surrounding animal welfare, as well as some information about current Government policy.
